Last Saturday, Robin and I strolled through Salcedo Market. It was our very first Salcedo Market experience. I say "the first" for two reasons. One, that we will be back there a lot more times. Two, going to Salcedo Market is truly an experience. The sights and smells of the place is just amazing. And while I can't share with you the smells of Salcedo Market, I can most definitely give you the sights.
I snapped quite a number of pictures there and I am sharing them with you here to give you an idea of what you'll find there and, as for those of you who have already been there, to help remind you where you got that deliciously authentic quiche or that great tasting sugar-free chocolate cake or that generously-sized home-made pastillas de leche, et cetera, et cetera. I've looked over the pictures and I can't seem to confine myself to choosing just a few so I will be setting up a lot. And I will do so in a series of posts over the next few days. This is my first installment. Enjoy!
