I was watching the movie Stranger Than Fiction a couple of months ago and there was this scene where Harold Crick (played by Will Ferrell) was coaxed by Ana Pascal (played by Maggie Gyllenhall) into a friendly conversation with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. It was a very touching scene. It spoke volumes in its simplicity. And it made me believe in all my heart that there is nothing like cookies to get on the good side of a person.

I have taken it upon myself to try out every single chocolate chip cookie recipe I come across on the world wide web. I've actually tried out quite a number of these recipes.
